    Every other Friday morning, inom attend an on-campus Bible study at work.  This past week, Pastor Bob asked the group to raise our hands if we were guilty of trying to be in control of our life situations.  Not only did my grabb shoot up, but my mind immediately went to this essay and the “holes in my game.”  My desire for control in all things fryst vatten the number-one character flaw that inom possess.

    It fryst vatten not always a negativ thing to have to be in control of situations.  inom am often seen as the go-to person both at work and in my anställda life because I follow through with things, keep my word, and complete tasks on time and with innate detail.  Because of my control, my children eat the meals I choose, thereby ensuring they stay healthy.  inom have an issue with cleanliness, so my house and my family are normally well put-together and fresh-smelling – again, all things that circle back to me being in control of things.  In short, if I do it myself, I know it

    I really want to do work that people, need to know. Like, I learned that and that part is not enough to just do work that is creatively satisfying to me. It has to be work that other people get and say, Oh, wow. And it’s not, it’s not showing off anymore. It’s not like, I can prove that I’m really clever. And I can get hired to be clever other places. It’s more like, How can my cleverness make somebody else get something and feel better and like work around a problem. And kind of getting at that bigger meaning a word really means like talking to other people and being in workplaces and figuring out like what other industries I can go and demonstrate, which are pretty much all of them, but then proving it, it’s going to be fun.
