Terry Sanders Jr. (テリー・サンダーズJr.,Terī Sandāzu Jr.?)is a character who first appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team.
Personality & Character[]
Sanders is a serious and reserved man, and at 29, he is the oldest member of the 08th MS Team. On the surface, Sanders appears to be a grizzled veteran; underneath, however, Sanders grapples with survivor's guilt, and is insecure as a result.
Among the members of the 08th MS Team, he is the most loyal to Shiro Amada.
History[]
Sanders was a veteran Earth Federation Space Forces test pilot long before he joined the 08th Mobile Suit Team. On October 10, UC , Sanders and his team engaged an experimental Zeon MSRD-4 Zaku High Mobility Test Type mobile suit and its escorts. Stanford
On January 5, , during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, Sanders announced that he had committed to playing football for Stanford University, even though he was still unsure if he would be admitted. According to ESPN, he was rated the 6th-best high school running back in the country.[6] He was indeed admitted to Stanford, and he did join the Cardinal football team but he was redshirted as a freshman, seeing no action during the college season. During his redshirt freshman season in , he was used sparingly as a running back and kick returner. He played in 12 of the Cardinal's 14 games, finishing the year with 34 rushing yards, 5 rushing attempts, and 1 touchdown. He played in all 13 games his sophomore season, finishing the season with 59 carries for yards and 7 receptions for 47 yards.
