George Washington Carver: In His Own Words, First Edition by Gary R. Kremer
A black man praised by white America-George Washington Carver () was an anomaly in his own time. This choice selection of Carver's writings reveals the human side of the famous black scientist, as well as the forces that shaped his creative genius.
The collection of works by Carver, along with Kremer’s commentaries to provide context to Carver’s words, show us a Carver who was both manipulated and manipulative who had inner tensions and anxieties.
