    Rob Zombie (born Robert Bartleh Cummings; January 12, ) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, filmmaker, and actor. His music and lyrics are notable for their horror and sci-fi themes,[2][3] and his live shows have been praised for their elaborate shock rock theatricality.[4][1][5][6] He has sold an estimated 15 million albums worldwide.[7] He rose to fame as a founding member and the frontman of heavy metal band White Zombie, with whom he released four albums.

    His first solo effort, the song "Hands of Death (Burn Baby Burn)" (with Alice Cooper), was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance.     “No. I didn’t know anyone who played an instrument, or even owned one. No one in my family even seemed to like music that much. I discovered music through watching the TV, because most of the shows had a musical theme – like The Monkees, or cartoons like The Groovy Ghoulies or The Archies.
